A habit older than the bottle itself.
Long before steel and plastic, Indian homes stored their drinking water in copper overnight and drank it each morning — a quiet ritual passed down through generations. DPitara carries that habit into daily life today, in pure copper you will want on your table every day.
- Keep it simple
- Plain water at room temperature is all a copper bottle needs.
- Let it age
- Copper darkens with time. A little lemon and salt brings the shine back whenever you like.

Questions, answered
What can I keep in the bottle?
Plain water at room temperature. Avoid hot drinks, fizzy drinks and acidic juices, which react with copper.
How do I clean it?
Rinse with warm water, then rub the inside with a little lemon and salt or tamarind to lift tarnish. Rinse well and dry with a soft cloth. Skip the dishwasher and steel scrubbers.
Why does the colour change over time?
Copper darkens naturally as it meets air and moisture. It is a sign of real copper and cleans off easily.
How long will delivery take?

How can I pay?
You can pay by UPI, cards or netbanking, or choose cash on delivery. Cash on delivery carries a ₹49.00 fee. Paying online avoids that fee and takes 5% off your order.
Is the Ayurvedic tradition a medical claim?
No. Keeping water in copper is a long-standing household tradition. DPitara bottles are not medical products and are not a treatment for any condition.
